CLAVES PARA EL DESARROLLO DE LA COMPETENCIA APRENDER A APRENDER DESDE LA MIRADA DEL PROFESORADO UNIVERSITARIO EN ESPAÑA
Abstract
This exploratory qualitative study, through semi-structured interviews, presents the perspectives of university professors on the characteristics and learning methods of current university students (Generation Z), as well as how the development of the Learning to Learn competence can be enhanced. The study identifies limitations, possibilities, and challenges. Faculty perceive defining features of this generation, such as the search for immediacy, coexistence with technology, and reduced attention and reflection times. They also identified limitations, such as study plans that constrain subjects within short time frames, making long-term projects impossible. Challenges include using artificial intelligence to support learning, balancing theory and practice, and collaborating.
