ASOCIATIONISM, DEMOCRACY AND SOCIAL PROPERTY
TOQUEVILLE´´ S THINKING VALIDITY
Abstract
This paper intends to inform about the new ways of political participation and social behaviour arisen as a response to the crisis of representative democracies model and its relationship with the performance of citizenship; the space where it develops its activities, located between liberal State and Market Economy. I retake Alexis de Tocqueville’s notion on asociationism to explain the relationship between participative democracy and social property as an alternative to the representative democracy-market economy relationship.
Keywords: Participative democracy, non state public space, social economy, Alexis
